So sorry to read of Petes passing! I grew up next to him on Larchwood,in the C L E. Admired his father, retired Marine. Me & Pete used to play with his dads Wilkenson swords in the garage.(Dont tell Mr Vasilakos). His granma used to pick grape leaves down on W150th to cook with. She also made rose petal jelly, awesome, just awesome. Knew Petes uncle , always running around with his cleaning business, outstanding people ALL. We visited Petes Dad a few times over the years before he left Larchwood ,always fun to reminisce with him. We used to play football in the street, all the time. Pete grew up to be quite the player, thank the games on red brick for that.
In closing would like to express my condolences to his wife & children , so sorry he died so young! Always hoped to run into Pete over the years, but it never happened. Rest in peace Pete.

Thank you for sharing! He is dearly missed but alive in stories we tell my children. They didn’t get the chance to meet him but we hope they remember him just the same.

I just found this on a web search so this is way way late.
My condolences to his wife and family.
I will always remember his laugh, what a fierce competitor he was, and what a great teammate he was.
Rest in peace "Kono" (That was his nickname on the football team)

Thank you for sharing. I’m currently searching for Ashland football memorabilia and stumbled on this posting. My dad was a memorable person, to be sure, and he is dearly missed.

Dear family and friends. I am so deeply sorry to hear about your loss. Peter will be missed, but not forgotten because Jesus' words found at (John 5:28,29) says there will be a resurrection. So what this mean is that Peter will be given a fresh new start with the prospect of living forever in a peaceful new world. (Psalms 37:29) I hope these promises found in the Bible bring comfort knowing that you have an opportunity to see him again to share more wonderful times together.
