Steven "Red" E. Gephart

Steven “Red” Gephart, 73, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Lafayette.  He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on August 26, 1950 to the late Russell and Freda (Hoberg) Gephart.

Red graduated from River View High School and worked at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for 29 years in the kitchen. He is a member of the Church of God. He enjoyed playing cards and bingo and he used to love fishing and bowling when he was able to.

Red is survived by his wife, Betty (Kinder) Gephart, who he married November 20, 2011; brothers Russell Gephart and Don (Emily) Gephart both of Coshocton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Gephart.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 10:00am – 11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating.  

Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
