Stanton “Randy” Randall Addy, 70, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cleveland on July 15, 1952 to the late Stanton Edgar Addy and Eileen (Cunningham) Hall. He was a 1971 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and then entered the United States Army. Randy worked as a truck driver for over 20 years, and was an avid mechanic. He had a passion for his Ford Mustangs and enjoyed collecting and shooting firearms.
He was married to Lisa Addy for 23 years and remained close friends. Also surviving are his children, Rusty Addy of Dennison and Krista (James) Hizer of New Philadelphia as well as his siblings, Lynn Addy, Martin (Jackie) Addy, Jay (Char) Addy, Susan Norman Addy and Victor Addy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce and Jack Addy.
A cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services.
A memorial service for Randy will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Cornerstone Gospel Church, 1124 W State Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832.
