Shelly R (Holskey) Mullens

Shelly R. Mullens, 59, of Coshocton passed away at The Ohio State University Medical Center on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

Shelly was born on December 5, 1962, in Norfolk, VA to the late Jeff and Gladys (Polcyn) Holskey.

In her earlier years, she attended COTC for Nursing.  Shelly also worked at Kellogg’s and was currently working at Kraft in Coshocton. 

She was a member of New Life Ministries, loved gardening, making lotions and soaps but her true passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Larry Mullens; son Jesse (Krissy) Edie of Coshocton; stepdaughter Bobbie Edie of Fresno; stepsons Gary (Betty) Mullens of Coshocton and Craig Mullens of Zanesville; grandchildren Peighton, Colton and Trenton Edie, Jaiden Matthews, Amara Edie, Shawn Wheeland and Justin (Kylie) Mullens; siblings Lori Holskey Verhelle, Doug Holskey and Denise Holskey, all of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Per Shelly’s wishes, a cremation will take place.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:30-6:30 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 6:30 PM with Mark Granger officiating.  Interment will take place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.
