Robert Joseph Cox, 64, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the OSU Medical Center. He was born on February 21, 1957, in Coshocton, to the late Joseph and Ruth (Dawson-Smythe) Cox who survives. On October 5, 1982, he married Cheryl (Moore) Cox. Robert worked as a motor coach operator. He was a big Cincinnati Bengals fan. He enjoyed camping and his golf cart. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Along with his mother and wife Cheryl, he is survived by his children, Susan (Dusty) Baker, Jodi (Richard) Bechtol, Angela Guthrie, Ami Cox, Tiffany (Rocky Matthews) Cox and Robbie (Brooke Ankrum) Cox, all of Coshocton; grandchildren, Anthony, Taylor, Alex, Shayann, Nakeisha, Dometrique, Jaedyn, Jesse, Destiny (Nick), Nevaeh, Paisley, Aiden and Cora; great-grandchildren, Brantley and Kyle James; brothers, Joseph Cox of Coshocton and Troy (Jamie) Cox of Strasburg as well as his nephews.
Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm. The Coshocton County Veterans Council will conduct Military Honors at 6:45pm. Cremation will follow the services.
