Mildred Balentine Obituary

Mildred L. Balentine, 86, of Coshocton, formerly of Texas, passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

Mildred was born in Hillsboro, Texas on February 6, 1935 to the late Thurman and Evelyn (Strickland) Frost. 

She graduated from Lubbock High School in the class of 1953 and was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for many years at Abernathy Medical Center in Abernathy, TX.

Mildred is survived by her three sons Bill (Sue) Balentine of Coshocton, Thomas (Kathy) Balentine of Purdon, TX and Morris (Ellen) Balentine of Athens, TX; grandchildren Scott, Kevin (Lisa), Kayla Balentine, Britnie and Corey Balentine; great grandchildren Connor, Adam and Ryan.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Balentine whom she married January 19, 1952 in Lubbock, TX.

Per Mildred’s wishes, a cremation will take place and her cremated remains will be buried in Younger Cemetery, Purdon, Texas.
