Merlyn Joyce Stevens

Merlyn Joyce Stevens 79 of Malta went home to be with the Lord on May 20th, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Merlyn was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Oct. 10th, 1943.

Merlyn is preceded in death by her father and mother Cameron and Esther Fero, 1 sister, 7 brothers, and a son James A. Stevens.

Merlyn is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 58 years Charles T. Stevens, 2 daughters: Pamela J. Stevens of Malta, and Sara K. Stevens of Dover. 7 grandchildren: Kimberely S. Clouse (Morris) of Howard, Cynthia J. Clouse of Coshocton, Randall W. Clouse Jr. of West Virginia, Natasha Stevens (Seward) of Delaware, Nicholas Stevens of Coshocton, Isabella G. Stevens of Dover, and Emily R. Stevens of Dover. 6 great-grandchildren: Zenia, CJ, Georgia, Kaleb, Raelyn, and Elliot.

Merlyn’s hobbies were crocheting, knitting, reading books, breeding Shih Tzu dogs, and gardening. Merlyn bred dogs for 16 years. She was also a financial advisor for 58 years. She has traveled to many states with her husband in the military. Merlyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and all around a great loving and caring person.
