Melissa Phillabaum Obituary
Melissa Phillabaum, 54, of Coshocton passed away on Monday April 25, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Melissa was born in Coshocton on March 7, 1968, to Richard and Dorothy (Darr) Barker.
She loved to paint, walking, and taking photographs of outdoor scenery. Melissa also treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Melissa is survived by her devoted husband Keith A. Phillabaum whom she married July 17, 1985; son Dustin T. Phillabaum of Coshocton; daughter Elissa G. (Cody) Miller of Conesville; father Richard A. Barker of Coshocton; brother Richard R. Barker of Coshocton; sister Tawnya Barker of Coshocton; mother-in-law Virginia Phillabaum of Coshocton; grandchildren Carson, Kristopher and Aubrey Miller, Dustin, Abby, Harmony and Zadyn Phillabaum; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Barker; step-mother Sue Barker; son Todd A. Phillabaum; sister Tracy Lynn Barker and father-in-law Donald Phillabaum.
Graveside funeral services for Melissa will be held in South Lawn Cemetery on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating.
