Obituary

Mark A. Alexander, age 47, passed away suddenly on August 15, 2023. He was born on May 5, 1976, in Coshocton and is survived by his mother and father, Dave and Peggy (Wiggins) Alexander. He was a Ridgewood High School graduate and continued on to Hardwood Lumber Grading School in Tennessee. Mark was currently working at Lity Scrap Yard and worked for years at Eagle Hardwood as a lumber grader. He had a kind soul and was always trying to make everyone around him laugh and smile. Throughout all the hardships life threw at him, he always remained happy and humble. He was well loved by his family and lived for his children and grandson. He loved watching them play sports as children and grow up to be the young adults they are now. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting items, especially coins.

Along with his parents, Mark is survived by his children, Kolton, Keely, and Kassidy Alexander, all of West Lafayette; grandson, Cason Fortney; siblings, Justin Alexander, Carson Alexander and Amber Howell; several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and the mother of his children, Amy Shingleton.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Loy Wiggins, Josephine Gephart and Hubert Alexander.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Monday August 21, 2023 from 5 to 7pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 7pm with Pastor Rod Uhlig officiating.
