Kenneth Wayne Jones

Kenneth Wayne Jones, age 78, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 28, 1944 in Sioux Falls, SD to the late William J. and Minnie Esther (Putzke) Jones. On May 6, 1967, he married Juana (Moreno) Jones, who survives. Kenneth enjoyed hunting in his days of living in South Dakota and more recently, fishing. He would take each one of his children to fish and spend one on one time with them. It is a memory that they cherish. He also loved the slow pace of watching the wild life and traffic go by. He liked old western movies, but only in color.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sister, Margaret “Peggy” Joan Fredricks; children, William James Jones of Coshocton, John Robert (Tracey) Jones of Coshocton and Katherine Eilene Kealoha of Corona, California; grandchildren, Charity (Jason) Stephens, JR Hughes, Amber Hughes, Noah Jones, Alyssa Garcia, Cody (Becca Sharier) Weese, Heaven Salmons, Aiden, Katalah, and Greyson Daughtery; great-grandchildren, Riley Robins, Ayden Waibel and Arianna, Vinson and Brantlee Weese; close family friends, Brandon Daughtery and Meagan Miller.

Preceding him in death are his parents; siblings, Carol Ione Hoover, Merlyn James Jones, John Russell Jones and Robert Eugene Swavely; grandson, Nicholas Garcia and son, Gerardo Sintora.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 43926 USRT 36, Coshocton, Ohio on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00pm with Minister Rick Kopchak officiating.
