Joseph "Joey" Tanner Obituary
Joseph “Joey” Tanner, 38, of Newcomerstown passed away Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born in Parkerburg, WV on June 15, 1983.
Joey graduated from Coshocton High School and served in the United States Navy for 5 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, laughing and having a good time around a bon fire playing his guitar. He also enjoyed sketching and drawing.
Joey is survived by his parents Susan Addy of Newcomerstown and Randall Tanner of West Virginia; children Jocelyn and Lindsey of Norfolk, VA and Jaylen Tanner of Houston, TX; brother Randy (Janet) Tanner II of Virginia Beach, VA; half sister Shannon Tanner; special aunt Lynn Addy; nieces and nephews McKayla (Joel), Dustin, Brandon, and Ashton.
Calling hours will be held at the Cornerstone – North Gospel Church, 1124 W. State Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832 on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Bishop Sam Corley officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 to help defray the funeral expenses.
