Joe Hobert Hill

Joe Hobert Hill, 82, of West Lafayette passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  He was born in Darbyville, Ohio on May 20, 1938 to the late Winston V. and Gracie M. (Roe) Hill. 

Joe served in the United States Army and worked in construction most of his life.  He also was the current Pastor at the Victory Center in West Lafayette.

Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth (Brown) Hill; children Jim (Anita) Hill and Christine (Jesse) Cullison; grandchildren Melanie Smith, Missy Nelson, Marcie Espenschied, Nicole Wilson, Kistel Clark, and Alex Hill; twelve great grandchildren; siblings Gene Hill, Joyce Chestnut, and Ruth Fish.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Pail, Tom and Roger Hill.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 11:00am – 12:00pm with funeral services beginning at 12:00pm with Rev. Pat Wilson officiating.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Newark Memorial Gardens, 4244 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055.

Due to Covid-19, we are requesting visitors coming to the funeral home wear their own face masks and we will be limiting the number of attendees inside the building.
