Jerry A. Thomas, 89, of Conesville passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Morrison House hospice care in Zanesville, Ohio.

He was born in Conesville, Ohio at the Thomas Farm on August 20, 1933, to the late Herald and Hilda (Casner) Thomas.

Jerry was a well-respected farmer, Navy veteran (Korean War) serving on the USS Sierra and will be greatly missed by his six children:  Terri Mullett of Warsaw; Toni (Danny) Markley of Coshocton; Tami (Rick) Mullett of Conesville; Tori (Marty) Dunton of Acme, PA; Trent (Lorrie) Thomas of Spicewood, Texas; Trevor (Megan) Thomas of Coshocton.  Thirteen grandchildren, Travis (Alyssa) Mullett, Tasha (Seth) Barbour, Raci (Tim) Zimpfer, Rowdi (Marissa) Mullett, Jennifer (Scott) Ruby, Eric (Kyla) Markley, Kimberly (Lance) Brenly, Tyler (Erin) Dunton, Trace Dunton, Ashley (Armando) Briones, Tanner (Katie) Thomas, Tucker (Hannah) Thomas, and Terek Thomas; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley J. (Lapp) Thomas, sister JoAnn Bowers, brother John Thomas, and son-in-law Lynn Mullett.

A Veterans service will be held at Coshocton Memory Gardens on Tuesday November 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM with Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
