James Rizer Obituary
James T. Rizer, 83, of West Lafayette passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 19, 1939 in Frostburg, Maryland to the late Benjamin and Druzilla Rizer. He was a 1958 graduate then entered into the service. He is a United States Army Veteran where he serviced from 1959 to 1965. On October 6, 1962, he married Carol (Goshorn) Rizer, who survives. James worked at General Electric then later worked at Route 5 Auto where he enjoyed buying and selling cars. He enjoyed slow days on drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes while watching old western movies.
Along with his wife, James is survived by his children, Henry (Kelly) Baker, Lorri (Ron) Castello, James (Jackie) Rizer, Robert (Evette) Rizer, Charles (April) and Benjamin (Tammy) Rizer as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services. Burial will be at a later date.
