James Wright Obituary

James Richard Wright, 92, of Coshocton passed away on December 30, 2023. He was born on December 9, 1931 in Coshocton County to the late Fulton and Martha (Noland) Wright. He was a proud Marine Veteran having served from 1951 to 1953. In 1955, he married Sylvia Marie (Stevens) Wright, who passed in 2020. He was a farmer and also worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting.

James is survived by his children, Carl (Mary) Wright and Faye (Charles) Jolivette; grandchildren, Erin (Mike) Pruneski, Sarah (Noah) Dennis, Heidi (Kaveh) Akbari, Brent Wright, Jesse (Kayla Chapman) Wright, Dustin Jolivette and Kalyn (Justin) Jolivette; six great grandchildren as well as his sister, Wilma (Harmon) Molen.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Freda Skinner; grandson, Ryan Wright and siblings, George Wright and Peggy Wright.

A cremation will take place at this time with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services and a private service will be held with the family at a later date.
