Garry Gunn Obituary

Garry C. Gunn, 76, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020.

He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on August 5, 1944 to the late Willard “Bill” and Virginia (Smith) Gunn.  Garry graduated from Newcomerstown High School in the class of 1962, served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge.

Garry retired after 34 years working at AK Steel in Coshocton and was enjoying his retirement job working at the Richard Downing Airport.  He loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and working at the airport.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Ruthie P. (Stahl) Gunn who he married May 11, 1968; two sons Jeff A. Gunn of Grove City and Keith A. (Sherry) Gunn of Coshocton; sister in law Lori (Dean) Stahl-Brown of Canton; grandchildren Tyler, Nick, Grant, Ross and Stephanie; a niece Julie Brown and nephew Jarod Brown.

Per Garry’s wishes, a cremation will take place, no services will be planned.
