Elden Williard

Elden L. Williard, 94, of Coshocton passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 at Oak Pointe Nursing facility in Baltic, Ohio.

Born November 2, 1926 in Ashville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Eles and Arline (Hanson) Williard.

Elden was a 1945 graduate of Canal Winchester High School. A WWII veteran US Corporal 9400 TSU Sig C headquarters company Sig Tng Regt.

On December 30, 1950 he married the love of his life Mary Ruth Greene, who survives. They just recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Elden started working with Columbus and Southern Power Plant in 1948 and retired in 1986.

Elden loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, going out to eat in Amish Country, building birdhouses, and mowing his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, children Greg (Darlene) Williard, Brian (Carol) Williard, Mike Williard; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister Lois Crawford; brothers Bill and Danny Williard.  He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Sharon Wolford.

A cremation will take place and there will be no services.
