Brenda Burns Obituary
Brenda L. Burns, 71, passed away on Friday, July 17th, 2020. She was born in Newcomerstown on October 20th, 1948 to the late Mary (Catlett) and Ronald A. Baker.
Brenda was a life-long member of the Pentecostal Church and was a secret animal-lover, frequently making donations to the Animal Shelter. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going bowling, especially with her family. Brenda loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Cubs, and she absolutely adored her grandkids.
Brenda is survived by her children George Bechtol, Angela (Matt) Mick and Brandi (Dave Matthews) Wright; siblings James (Becky) Baker, Don (Judy) Baker, Reno (Sandy) Ingram and Paul (Marilyn) Baker; grandkids Hunter Elizabeth Carpenter, Gunnar Matthew Carpenter, David Maynard Matthews, Mason (Sahar) Mick, Braydon (Autumn) Mick and Maddison Mick; great grandson Samuel Arthur Mick; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband William G. ‘Soupy’ Burns, sisters Betty-Ruth Baker and Janet (Ray) Howard, as well as her nephew David M. Baker.
Per the family’s wishes there will be no services and a cremation will take place for Brenda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter 21755 Township Rd 164, Coshocton, OH 43812.
