Annabelle G. “Annie” Whitaker Obituary
Annabelle G. “Annie” Whitaker, 83, of Coshocton passed away at the Coshocton County Regional Medical Center on Tuesday December 29, 2020.
Annie was born in Bakersville on November 29, 1937 to the late Harvey and Hazel (Mizer) Thomas. She graduated from West Lafayette High School in the class of 1955 and retired from Clow Water Systems as a Secretary in 2000. Annie enjoyed taking care of her houseplants, crocheting, watching major league baseball on television and spending time with her family.
Annie is survived by her daughter Lori (Steve) Affolter of Coshocton; son Jerry Whitaker of FL; special grandson Jason K. Affolter of Coshocton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Joanne Ryan.
Per Annie’s wishes, private family graveside services will be held in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839 and/or the Coshocton Senior Center, 201 Browns Lane, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
