Timothy Turner

Timothy A. "Tim" Turner, 77, of Coshocton passed away at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia on Tuesday July 29, 2025.

Tim was born on January 29, 1948 in Coshocton to the late Chuck & Cecelia (Gilgannon) Turner.

He graduated from Coshocton high School, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion and Eagles.

Tim served as a Coshocton City Firefighter for twenty-nine years, served as Mayor of Coshocton from 2004-2008, bartended at the Eagles and the American Legion for many years, loved the outdoors, camping and fishing

He is survived by his children Todd A. Turner of Coshocton and Heidi McPeak of Warsaw; grandchildren Trevor Turner, Tamara and Chandelor Lazette; brother Chuck (Bonnie) Turner of Coshocton; special family member Roxanne Anderson; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his furry companion Zoey.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara L. (Bartlett) Turner who passed away on December 20, 2021; daughters Tami Turner and Michelle McPeak. 

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday August 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

A cremation will take place after the calling hours and burial of his cremated remains will be held in Prairie Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
