Timothy Priest

Timothy Priest, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1962 in Coshocton to the late Robert F. Priest and Alletta (Keiffer) Leigh. He was a 1980 graduate of Coshocton High School and following, entered the United States Air Force, where he served for 12 years. During his service he worked as an aircraft fuel systems technician and specifically worked on the F-117 Night Hawk stealth ground-attack aircraft in its developmental stages. He worked at Shaffer Tent and Awning in Coshocton, Lepi Enterprises in Zanesville and Leggett and Platt for 11 years while living in North Carolina. Also in North Carolina, he worked as a pit crew tire specialist for driver Michael Ritch at Jack-a-Roo Racing. He fell in love with NASCAR racing and was an avid fan of motocross.

He is survived by his brother, Jim (Karen) Priest of Fresno step siblings Todd (Tammy) Leigh and Teres (Jamie) Smith; sister-in-law Sara Priest and nieces and nephews, J.T. (Baylee Vanek) Smith, Nicloe Hardesty, Chase Hayes, Samantha (Kyle) Daugherty, Kyle (Kayla) Priest, Matthew (Lori) Priest, Aaron (Amanda) Priest, and Andrew (Hayley) Priest.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Priest, Thomas Priest and Mike Priest and step- father, Gene Leigh.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 10am to 11am. The funeral service will begin at 11am with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewsiville Cemetery.
