Thomas "Tom" Welling, affectionately known as "Sausage" as his C-B handle, 73, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday September 17, 2026 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton.
Tom was born in Coshocton on March 18, 1953 to the late Marquis R. and Ruth (Eberwine) Welling.
He graduated from River View High School and was a truck driver throughout his life, long dump hauling for several companies including the Coshocton Grain Company and Coshocton Trucking to name a few.
Tom was the founding member of the Coshocton Truckers Van Club and C.B.S Van Club, he and his wife Susan loved traveling together to all of the van events. He also loved anything Ford, watching NASCAR, Vanning, having big a** bon fires and listening to Rock and Roll music.
Tom is survived by his wife Susan A. (Rice) Welling whom he married May 26, 1979; one son Marcus (Katlyn) Welling of Coshocton; grandson Gage (fiancé Mariah) Brown and great grandson Sam Brown.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers John and David Welling.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday September 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.
Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 TR 164, Coshocton, Ohio 43812; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
