Thomas Hawthorne

Thomas "Tom" Duane Hawthorne, 61, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday December 13, 2025.

Tom was born on February 8, 1964 to the late Duane "Skunky" and Margaret Hawthorne.

He graduated from River View High School in 1982, volunteered for Three Rivers Fire District, worked at Pretty Products, BP and Sunoco gas station.

Tom is survived by his two children Amber (Robert) Bates and Richard (Michelle) Hawthorne both of Coshocton; grandchildren Brittleigh and Blake Bates; brother Rick (Betti) Phelps; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Jim Asire; close friends Kenny (Kim) Gross and Dale Showman.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Ida and Asa Gephart; great grandmother Onida Hawthorne; sister Pam Asire and sister-in-law Phyliss Phelps.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday December 19th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A cremation will take place after the calling hours.
