Sheryl Slaughter

Sheryl Lynn (Smalley) Slaughter, 81, of Coshocton passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Sheryl was born on February 22, 1945 in Coshocton to the late Floyd and Carrie (Kimberley) Smalley.

She was an avid animal lover who treated all her animals like her children. On Saturdays you could find her in front of the TV cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes. GO BUCKS!!

Sheryl is survived by her sons William Bebout and Jamie (Angie) Slaughter; daughter Tami Elder; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends Gary (Sue) McNichols.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jim; brother Richard Smalley; sister-in-law Janice Smalley, and son-in-law Scott Elder.

Per Sheryl's wishes there will be no services and a cremation will take place.
