Sharon Lynn Thomas

Sharon Lynn Thomas, 74, of Coshocton passed away Friday, March 20, 2026. She was born in Coshocton, OH on January 12, 1952 to the late Robert and Lois (Wolford) Hothem.

Sharon graduated from River View High School in 1969, Cedarville University in 1973 with a Bachelor's in Education, and Ashland University in 1995 with her Master's Degree. She taught for Coshocton City School District for 27 years before retiring. Sharon was a member of the Coshocton Historical Society and enjoyed doing puzzles, crafting, playing BINGO, and collecting anything Mickey Mouse. More than anything she loved talking about her grandchildren to anyone that would listen and spending time with them.

Sharon is survived by her children Melissa (Aaron) Greenwood of West Lafayette and Jonathon (Ashley) Thomas of Coshocton; grandchildren Justin McCormick, Abby Greenwood, Miles Thomas, Taylor McCormick, Zailey Thomas, and Hudson Thomas; and her dear friend, Ruth Ann Bosley.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10:00am -11:00am with a memorial service beginning at 11:00am with Ruth Ann Bosley officiating.
