Sandra W Holmes

Sandra Fae Wilson Holmes, 87 of Coshocton passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the HomeStead of Coshocton. Sandra was born in Coshocton County on February 5, 1939 to the late Gaylon Gilbert Wilson and Ruth Hadie (Stitler) Wilson. Sandra was a graduate of Coshocton High School and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She worked at Carton's Shoes and later for Pretty products as a billing clerk. She stopped work to raise their daughters, then returned to Pretty products. She retired in 1993. She enjoyed bowling, card club, traveling the world with her husband, and time with her family. She enjoyed Genealogy; she helped work on a "History of Coshocton County, Ohio" published in 1985.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Thomas D. Holmes, whom she married on September 6, 1964; two daughters, Julia A. White of Grove City and Sharon (Scott) Dunn of West Lafayette; two cherished granddaughters, Alexis (Montana) Seitz of Coshocton and Lindsay Griffith of Findlay; one sister, Sara Schlarb and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Rolland "Gene" Wilson, Gaylon (Doris) Wilson and sister, Shirely Ann ("Pinky" Robert) Fortune.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral home on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 5pm to 6pm. The funeral service will be at 6pm with Pastor Deb Quillen officiating. Burial of Sandra cremated remains will take place at Canal Lewisville Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards Grace United Methodist Church.
