Samuel Lee Davis

Samuel L. Davis, 79, of Coshocton, OH, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 23, 2026. He was born in Steubenville, OH, on February 21, 1946, to the late Marvin Dale and Mildred Irene Davis.

Samuel is survived by his wife of 30 years, Renée Davis; his children Amanda Hurst Wilson of Canton, OH, Amy Hurst of North Carolina, and Dustin Davis of Uhrichsville, OH; stepdaughter Amber Harrah of Coshocton. Samuel was one of nine siblings, and he is survived by brothers Dale David Goddard of Marietta, OH, and Robert Davis of Coshocton; he is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles and was an OTR Truck Driver for over 50 years, where he made several friends along the way. He always had a few good stories to share!

Per Samuel's wishes, a cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Coshocton Eagles Lodge, 99 Main Street, Coshocton, OH. All are welcome to come and share memories and stories.
