Ronald "Ron" E. Ashcraft

Ronald "Ron" E. Ashcraft, 100, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home. Born on October 11, 1925 to the late French and Margery (McKee) Ashcraft.

Ron was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having enlisted on July 14, 1944, and honorably discharged on June 9, 1946. After his military service, he embarked on a fulfilling career at the Ohio Power Company (AEP), where he worked for 42 years as a Senior Commercial Sales Representative. On November 8, 1952, Ronald married the love of his life, Marilyn (Darling) Ashcraft, who passed away July 10, 2018.

Ron was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church and served as Past Master of Three Rivers Lodge #799. Additionally, he was an active member of the Coshocton Elks Lodge #376.

Ron is survived by nieces Marcella (Joel) Garverick, Michelle (William) Parker, Yvonne (Phil) Brenner, and Iona Jones; nephews Ronald (Marsha) Williamson and Wayne Ashcraft.

Per the families wishes all services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards donor's choice.
