Rodney D Howell

Rodney D. Howell, 65, of Massillon, formerly of Coshocton passed away unexpectantly on Saturday April 4, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Canton.

Rodney was born on December 16, 1960 in Coshocton to the late Gerald D. and Alice "Betty" E. (Henry) Howell.

He graduated from River View High School and was currently working at Stark Truss Company where he had been employed for over forty years.

Rodney was a member of Canal Fulton Baptist Church in Canal Fulton where he loved helping with their community garden. He was also long-time member of the NRA, enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cooking, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his two children Cody Howell of Fresno and Darsey Howell of Stow, Ohio; two grandchildren Mason and Nova Howell; one sister Judy (Silas) Markel of Coshocton.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday April 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Whitney S. Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
