Robert Fitzer

Robert E. Fitzer Jr. passed away on December 16, 2025 at Altercare of Coshocton. He was born on April 25, 1949 in Coshocton to the late Robert and Naomi (Crouch) Fitzer Sr. He was a high school graduate and immediately following he entered into the United State Navy to serve in the Vietnam War. Upon his return home, he worked as a truck mechanic. On March 10 1972, He married Betty (Benge) Fitzer, who survives. In his free time, he loved to be outdoors. Most of all, he loved to fish. He was an avid sports fan, supporting the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Russell (Linda) Fitzer, Dave (Vicki) Fitzer, Anthony (Brandy Kitzmiller) Fitzer, Derrick (Mary Roof) Fitzer, Valentina Edgell and April (John) Jenkins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as his sister, Kathy Graves.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Michael and John Fitzer.

A cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory.
