Robert "Bob" Euton, age 80 of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Roscoe Gardens. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Robert "Jack" Euton Sr. and Norma (Jewett) Euton. On May 18, 1968, he married Eileen (Tyson) Euton, who survives.
Bob's strong work ethic was evident throughout his entire life. Following graduation from West Lafayette High school, class of 1963, he began his career in road construction together with his dad at VN Holderman. During his tenure, he played a vital role in establishing the county's 911 system, helping modernize emergency communication services throughout the community. Dedicated to the safety and well-being of others, Bob was instrumental in implementing tornado warning codes for Coshocton County and worked tirelessly to improve communication technology across multiple departments.
His service extended far beyond his official duties. Passionate about educating others, he devoted countless hours to Safety City and served as an advisor for the Junior Sheriff's Club, teaching safety and responsibility to young people throughout the community. He also worked as an EMT with Coshocton County EMS, continuing his lifelong mission of helping others.
When he was not working or volunteering, Bob enjoyed coaching baseball in Conesville for many years. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes and loved watching NASCAR races. His passion for technology followed him home, where he enjoyed building computers and learning about new advancements. In quieter moments, Bob could often be found relaxing with one of his many dogs over the years while watching an old Western movie.
