Rick Holder

Rick A. Holder, 70, of West Lafayette passed away surrounded by his wife and daughters on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Morrison House in Zanesville following a four-month battle with pancreatitis. He was born in Coshocton, OH on March 10, 1955 to the late Charles E. and Barbara E. (Guilliams) Holder.

Rick graduated from Ridgewood High School and worked for Buckeye Fabric for 16 years and AK Steel for 30 years before retiring.

Rick is survived by his wife of 23 years, Teresa (Jones) Holder; children Brandy (B.J.) Watson, Rickelle (Josh) Simmons and Ashleigh (Chris) Snyder; grandchildren Will, Jack, and Abigail Watson, Maci Snyder, Skyler, Gavin, and Cayden Ninham, and Avery and Tegan Simmons; sister Nora Moore; nephews Scott and Brian Moore; great nephew Waylon Moore; sisters and brother-in-law Traci Jones, Linda (Greg) Bender, and Jay (Jeanie) Jones; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Tommy and Shirley Jones; and brother-in-law Charles "Spunk" Moore.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St. Coshocton, OH on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm with services beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards Genesis Hospice - Morrison House; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
