Renard Wright, passed away on June 27, 2026 at Roscoe gardens. He was born on March 20, 1938 to the late Cecil and Thelma (Bible) Wright. He worked at Stone Container for several decades before retiring. He married Sue (Watts) Wright on July 1, 1978, who passed away in 2022. Through the years, he became known as a true "jack of all trades," with the ability to build, repair, or improve just about anything. His talents were evident in the three homes he built, an example of his hard work and craftsmanship.
Retirement never slowed him down. Renard enjoyed spending time with friends, transporting members of the Amish community, and perfecting his golf game. He was an avid sports fan who closely followed a variety of sports, as well as NASCAR racing. He was a proud member of the Eagles, Sportsman’s Club, Coshocton Gun Club and the Fresno Gun Club, and he faithfully attended Keene United Methodist Church.
Children, Debbie (Keith) Bowman of Coshocton and Margo (Chris) Peerenboom of Columbus; six grandchildren, Lindsie (Brad) Bowman Holton, Logan (Ali) Stipes, Abbie Bowman, Peyton (Curtis) Stipes, Brennan Bowman and Corbin Wright; 6 great grandchildren, Pyper, Waylon and Larson Stipes and Sam and Andy Holton, Rilo Blake and Oliver Wright; siblings, Audrey Eaches and Marna (Rick) McMillen; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Wright and Connie Fox; brothers-in-law, Tom (Jackie) Watts as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife, Renard is preceded in death by his son, Terry Wright; grandson, Conor Wright; siblings, Burvil, Neville, Kenneth, Wayne, Linda, Celia and Lola Wright.
The family would like to give a special thank you to friends, Randy Hall, Terry Albertson, Tom (Cindy) Stockdale and Tom (June) Lauvray for all their help.
Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday July 9, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paula Marbury officiating.
