Rebecca S Brown

Rebecca "Becky" S. Brown, 73, of Newark, formerly of Coshocton, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at Specialty Care Hospital in Newark.

Becky was born in Kankakee, Illinois, to the late Paul J. and Betty (Burris) Miller and later step mother Linda (Saxton) Miller. She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1972 and began her career at Pretty Products, where she worked until her retirement.

Becky was a member of Coshocton Nazarene Church, Newark United Methodist Church, and Church of God at God's Acres in Newark. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center, playing board games, the color purple, and listening to the Gaither Vocal Band. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones.

She married Paul Brown on June 27, 2015.

Becky is survived by her husband, Paul Brown of Newark; daughter, Jennifer Miller Sells of Coshocton; stepson, Jeremy Brown of Newark; grandchildren, Bethany Halsey, Danielle Fick, and Katelynn Fick; and siblings, William L. Miller and Philip J. (Loretta) Miller.

Along with her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her stepmother, Linda Miller; and siblings, Paul J. Miller, Kenneth I. Miller, and John C. Miller.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor John Brainard officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Warsaw.
