Patricia L. McVay, 91, of Coshocton passed away after a brief illness on Friday February 20, 2026.
Patricia was born in Richland, Michigan on June 17, 1934 to the late John and Mabel (Sweeney) DeHollander.
Patricia was employed at Castle Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio for 30+ years prior to retirement. She enjoyed cooking and baking, going to Gospel Hill concerts, loved animals, enjoyed her trips to Arizona and the Grand Canyon, and watching NASCAR and football.
Survived by sons Mike, Melvin (Carolyn), Ron, Don all of Coshocton and Charles of Warsaw; daughter Mary (Bob) Juniper of New Albany; brother Leonard (Charlotte) DeHollander of MI; sister Joyce (Len) Jenson of MI; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles who passed away in August of 1990; son Bruce Wayne; daughter-in-law Bonnie; sisters Betty and Jean, brothers Jim, Ed, John, and Bernard; great granddaughter Charliegh Burch.
Patricia wishes to be remembered by her hard work and how she cared for her kids. As a lifelong mother, Patricia put her kids ahead of everything. She was strong, beautiful, and brought a smile to the faces of everyone she encountered. When we think of her, may we recall how gentle, wise, patient, and loving she was. We will forever miss seeing her beautiful blue eyes.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday February 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
