Norma L. Eckelberry, 80, of West Lafayette passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home. She was born in Martin, KY on February 7, 1940 to the late Samuel and Dixie (Hicks) Stephens.
Norma graduated from Martin High School, worked for The Sign Maker Shop for 30 years before retiring and She was a member of Word Worship Center. She loved the University of Kentucky, especially watching their basketball team. Norma’s main joy in her life was her family. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Norma is survived by her husband, John Eckelberry, who she married August 21, 2004; children Rick (Kelly) Jarrell, Vicky (Mike) Williams, Dixie (Corney) Saylor, Denise Angle, Lill (Colleen) Jarrell; step children Johnny (Linda) Eckelberry, Morgan (Teresa) Eckelberry, Chris Eckelberry, and Stephanie (Jimmy) Adams; siblings James (Linda) Stephens and Randall (Debbie) Stephens; sister-in-law Ginny Stephens; and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Grover Stephens, Thomas Stephens; and stepson Steven Eckelberry.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00am with Pastor Jim Gross officiating.
A cremation will take place following the services. Memorial contributions can be directed towards St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Due to COVID19, visitors coming to the funeral home are required to wear their own face masks at all times.
