Nola Minor

Nola Minor, 67, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at her home. She was born on March 3, 1959 to the late Floyd and Marie (Smith) Waybel. She worked in healthcare for many years before working at Wendy's. On February 1, 1982, she married Williard "Willy" Minor and they spent many wonderful, loving years together. They enjoyed traveling in their camper and camping together as well as long motorcycle rides. In the slow times, she enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

She is survived by her adopted daughter, Vanessa Woody; sister, Vickie Stubbs and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Penny Farley; brothers, Raymond and Ronnie Waybel and nephew, Shawn Waybel.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 12pm to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
