Mary Kathryn Melrose

Mary K. Melrose, 88 of Warsaw passed away on Monday June 22, 2026 at her home.

Mary was born in Coshocton, Ohio on July 31, 1937 to the late Howard and Margaret (Worthington) Barrick. She worked at Wells Greenhouse, Spitlers, Newberry's, Rhodes in Millersburg, IGA and Edmonts.

She was an active member of Gospel Hill Ministry in Warsaw.

Mary is survived by her children Marsha Melrose of Zanesville, Kathy Jo (Ray) Richcreek of Coshocton, Crystal (John) Weidger of Coshocton, Julia A. (Mike) Cognion of Glouster, VA and Ginny (Keith Carnes) Mizer of Coshocton; grandson and care giver Charles (Carolyn) Melrose; eleven grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; half-brother Henry (Libby) Perkins of Conesville; step-sisters Glenda (Gary) Hardesty of Coshocton, half-sisters Marie (Gail) Arnold of Frazeysburg and Janie (John) Bowman of IL; numerous nieces and nephews; long time close friends and care givers Bob (Libby) Anderson.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frederick Edward Melrose; step brother Johnny Perkins. Per Mary's wishes, a cremation will take place, no services will be observed at this time.
