Martha Bigrigg, age 85 of Coshocton passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 19, 1940 in Coshocton to the late Robert and Mary (Matthews) Bradford. She was a 1959 graduate of Coshocton High School. She married the love of her life; John Edward Bigrigg and they spent 64 wonderful years together before his passing in 2024. Martha worked as a waitress for over 30 years at Spitler's Family Restaurant. Outside of work, Martha and John had a farm where they raised and showed ponies and horses, even helping to board horses for others. She had quite a passion for all animals but especially loved horses, dogs and cats. She loved her family and was always ready for a family get together, whether it was a holiday or a hot dog roast. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and thrifting.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Rodney) Taynor; granddaughter, Jenna (Shawn) Summers and siblings, David (Pat) Bradford, Susan Kling and Sharon Groves; in-laws, Alice (Del) Amore, Mary Dobson and Gerry Amore as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Bradford and Ron Bradford and her in-laws, Lester Bigrigg, Nellie Bowman, Jim Groves, Keith Kling and Terry Bigrigg.
Her two favorite quotes that she lived by were:
"Nothing is more useful than silence."
"Life is not measured by time but is measured by moments. Some are big but most are small."
A cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory.
