Luther Jerold House

Luther House, 77, of Coshocton, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Luther was born November 10, 1948, and graduated from River View High School in 1967. He worked for Pretty Products and retired after many years of service.

Luther was a member of the Moose Lodge and NewPointe Community Church. He enjoyed golfing and was known for his willingness to help others in the community. He especially enjoyed cooking for community events, class reunions, and other gatherings, where he shared his time and talents with others.

He is survived by his brother, Alvie House of Cleveland; cousin Beverly (Dave) Ramsey of Warsaw; stepson Kevin (Patty) Clark of South Carolina; grandchildren Caci (Alex) Kostik, Jessica (Trey) Shrimplin, Sarah (RJ) Cotterman, and Brian Bourne; and several great-grandchildren.

Luther was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis House; his parents, Jarold and Margaret (Wohlheter) House; and brothers Bobby House and Wayne House.

A graveside service will be held at South Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:00pm with Sam Massey officiating.
