Loren Mathew

Loren Mathew, age 78 of Columbus, passed away on August 29, 2025 at Pickerington Methodist Hospital. He was born on June 14, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Mel and Lois (Webb) Mathew. He served in the Unites States Navy from 1969 - 1972. On June 6, 1970, he married, Sandy (Jones) Mathew, who survives. After his return from the service, he worked his career as a machinist until his retirement. In his free time, you could find him working in his work shop, he enjoyed wood working and creating bowls, pins and even cupboards. He also loves hot rods and was currently building a T Bucket.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his brother, Larry (Jane) Mathew of New Fairfield, CT; nephew, Michael (Sandra) Mathew and niece, Karen Thompson.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11am with Pastor Deb Quillen officiating. The Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.
