Lloyd E. Fuller, 88, of Granville, formerly of Coshocton passed away at his home in Granville on Monday October 5, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
Lloyd was born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 28, 1937, to the late Harley and Mildred (Lockwood) Fuller. He was a 1956 graduate of Conesville High School. On June 28, 1958, he married the love of his life, F. Carol Fuller, who passed away in 2022.
As a young man Lloyd started to build his connections in the community as a milkman. He delivered milk to local schools and homes and became known as the friendly milkman. This friendliness helped launch his career as a customer on his route connected him with her dad who worked for State Farm. In 1964, Lloyd and Carol opened the State Farm Insurance Agency in Coshocton. They enjoyed working side by side and building their business together for many years.
Philanthropy and service were at the heart of Lloyd's life. He became a member and held several offices of local lodges and chapters of organizations. Lloyd was a natural leader who cared deeply about his community. He was involved with the Jaycees, Masonic Lodge 96, Aladdin Shriners, Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite Lodge, and Rotary of Coshocton. He was often found driving a little wrecker in parades with the Shriners, or knocking on your door to sell roses for the Rotary.
Lloyd was outgoing and friendly, always ready to meet someone new or stop and visit with a friend. You often knew he was nearby when you heard his familiar whistle. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with Carol, making many memories along the way. Later in life, Lloyd and Carol moved to Otterbein Senior Living in Granville. They created a large network of friends through the many activities and programs they enjoyed. Lloyd was easily spotted on the bocce ball court every Friday and Saturday morning wearing his 10-gallon cowboy hat!
Above all, Lloyd was a devoted family man. He treasured time spent with his family and especially loved being with his grandchildren. Telling his grandchildren jokes might have been one of his favorite activities. His warm personality, community spirit, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son Gregory (Robin) Fuller of Baltimore, OH; daughter Amy (Tom) Price of Mason, OH; four grandchildren Stephanie (Keith) Shaffer, Kristin (Phil) Banks, Ellie, and Lilly Price; three great grandchildren Claire and Blake Shaffer and Ava Banks; brother, Kenneth (Marilyn) Fuller; several nieces and nephews as well as treasured friends of Otterbein Senior Living of Granville.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol; two sons Mark and Daniel Fuller and siblings, Myron Fuller, Mary Smith, Rose Jones, Doris Smith, Delores Blair and Dale Fuller.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday, October 12, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM where a masonic service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service with Pastor Mark Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
