Kelly Boals

July 2, 1954 — November 21, 2025

Kelly Boals, 71, of Warsaw passed away on November 21, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 2, 1954 in Zanesville to the late Elmer Boals Jr and Norma (Wheeler) Boals. He was a 1972 graduate of Riverview High School. On October 31, 1974, he married Annette (Lacy) Boals, who survives. Kelly was a hardworking guy, never sitting still and always looking for more work. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18. On the side, he owned and operated Kelly's excavating and mowing for 30 years where he made lifelong friendships. He was handy and lots of talents, including welding and woodworking. He enjoyed his routine coffee stops at Eddy Ryan's where he never met a stranger.

Along with being a workaholic, his greater passion was family. He and Annette spent 51 years together creating a beautiful life and family. He was the backbone and everyone’s emergency call. He loved going to grandchildren’s events and showing support in whatever hobby they picked up. From staying up late doing woodworking for a school project or going to a baseball game. He worked hard so everyone could have a nice life and he took pride in that.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, April (Kevin Kent) Boals, Adam Boals, Kaitlyn Hill; grandchildren, JordynJasey and Camden Boals as well as their mother, Kristi Langdon; siblings, Elizabeth Walsh, Susan (Mike) Dilly, Jennifer (Aaron) Sturtz; special friend, Terry Albertson and his beloved dog Lulu.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Boals; granddaughter, Kandice Boals-Hill as well as his dogs, Boone, Louis and Shadow.

Private services will be held with the family.
