Karen Deffenbaugh

Karen Deffenbaugh, 67, of Fresno passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her home. She was born in Coshocton on November 11, 1957, to the late Ralph M. and Elizabeth A. (Hughes) Marks.

Karen worked as an aide for Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation, and she loved her family, cooking, painting, taking care of animals and spending time with her great grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her children Julie Deffenbaugh Sells of Coshocton, Heather Wright, Scott (Mandy) Hayes, and Willie (Ashley Mardis) Hayes all of Fresno; grandchildren Amber Sells, Heather Sells, Brandon Roberson, Elizabeth Lintz, Kevin Lintz, Brice (Kyra) Hayes, Allie (Jonathan) Dart, Nicole, Nicholas and Taylor Hayes; several great grandchildren; and sister Grace Wiggins of Coshocton.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles "Charlie" Deffenbaugh, who passed away May 11, 2012; daughter Julie Hayes; son Larry Deffenbaugh; and sisters Diana Good and Penny Marks and brother Tom Marks.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 10:00am - 11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Chuck Michaels officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
