John Andrew Gauerke

John A. Gauerke, 69, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday November 21, 2024.

John was born in San Diego, CA on December 2, 1954, to the late James R. and Elizabeth A. "Bettsy" (Moore) Gauerke.

He graduated from Coshocton High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1975.

John is survived by his two sons John-Paul Gauerke and Jimmy Gauerke of Gaeta, Italy; siblings Matthew R. (Christy) Gauerke and Ellen (Ray) Hardesty both of Coshocton and Charley (Kelly) Gauerke of Staunton, VA; several nieces and nephews. 

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Gauerke.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with The Miller Funeral Home & Crematory and burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date.
