James Albert Hughes

James Albert Hughes, 67, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Roscoe Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation in Coshocton. He was born in Coshocton, OH on September 21, 1958 to the late Albert and Florence (Poland) Hughes.

James graduated from River View High School and worked for many years at Hopewell Industries and Spitler's Restaurant. He enjoyed talking to people and doing puzzles.

James is survived by his siblings Kenneth Duff, Carol (Greg) Nommay, Ralph (Margaret) Hughes, and Babette Carter; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Charles Duff; and sister-in-law Kathy Duff.
