George "GG" Stanley Guilliams, 73, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at his home. He was born in Coshocton on November 16, 1952, to the late Harvey Richard and Irene Helen (Matis) Guilliams.
George graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1971 and dedicated 23 years of his working life to the maintenance department at SanCast before retiring. He took pride in his work and in being someone others could depend on.
George was an active member of his community and served as a board member of the USBC Bowling Association. Bowling and playing pool were one of his favorite pastimes, and he enjoyed the friendships and time spent with others through the sports. He also had a love for the open road and took great pleasure in riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Another favorite pastime was eagle watching, an interest that allowed him to enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the beauty of nature.
On October 1, 1978, George married the love of his life, Tammy Sue Guilliams. They shared many years together until her passing on September 13, 2021. George continued to cherish the memories of their life together.
George is survived by his daughters, Jeri Brink of Coshocton, Jana (Mike Harrison) Guilliams of West Lafayette, and Jenny Guilliams of Coshocton; grandchildren Erica McKnew, Chace Guilliams, Ethan Brink, Rayanne Bryant, Aleeiah Bryant, Deacon Guilliams; siblings Bill (Bea) Guilliams, Dave (Janice) Guilliams, Carol (Don) Neighbor, and Sandy (Chip) Wilson; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He shared a very special bond with nephew Eric (Mandy) Guilliams of Coshocton, niece Tessa (Jimmy) Everett of New Philadelphia, great niece Taylor (Alex) Hamiton of Tippecanoe, cousins Shannon (JT) Griffith of Alexandria and Roger (Diane) Carpenter of Fairmont, WV.
The family would like to encourage folks to ride their motorcycle to the funeral service on Friday for the procession from Miller Funeral Home to South Lawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday August 13, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am with Carl Cutlip officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be directed towards Legacy Lanes and Lounge; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
