A proud graduate of Conesville High School, Gary dedicated his career to General Electric, where he spent many years as a diligent maintenance worker, earning the respect of his colleagues and embodying the values of hard work and commitment. His grandchildren were a source of great joy for him; he took pride in their accomplishments and enjoyed creating lasting memories with them.
Gary is survived by his devoted wife, Becky, and their children: Scott (Natalie) Shroyer, Sheri (Shawn) Shaw, Matt (Rachel) Shroyer, and Kristy (Jason) Bryant. He is also survived by his siblings: Carol Duncan, Cecil (Judy) Shroyer, and Marlene (Joe) Griffith; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Richard "Dick" Shroyer and brother-in-law Charlie Duncan.
