Gary D. Brenly, 80, of Fresno went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Coshocton, OH on October 1, 1945 to the late Otto Brenly Sr. and Pearl (Casey) Brenly.
Gary was a proud graduate of Killbuck High School and served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army 4th infantry Division and 25th Infantry Division. Following his military service, he dedicated over 29 years to General Clay in Baltic and subsequently worked for 24 years at Skips Refuse before finding joy in retirement.

Gary had a passion for antique tractors, steam engines, and old cars. He also enjoyed attending tractor shows, and cherished the simple pleasures in life, especially taking rides on his side by side and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Ames) Brenly, whom he married on August 31, 1968. Gary was a proud father to Rex (Stacey) Brenly, Wesly (Renina) Brenly, and Amery (Julie) Brenly, and he will be lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
