Donnie West

Donnie West, 68 of Coshocton passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.  He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on May 20, 1953 to the late William and Mary (Curtis) West Sr.

Donnie had an unwavering smile and strong spirit, he loved so many people and they loved him. His passion was helping others, he spent 18 years of his life helping others and doing his job at Walmart in Coshocton. He also worked at Longaberger for 8 years and was the “Peanut Man” and sold peanuts and drinks from his wagon. Donnie also served in the United States Marine Corp for a few years before he was honorably discharged. In his spare time he enjoyed listening and talking to his favorite country artist; he lived everyday his own way.

Donnie is survived by his fiancé, Norma Kohman of Coshocton; stepson Walter (Nicki) Kohman of Coshocton and Marcie (David) Lanning of Florida; grandchildren Chloe Kohman and Ricky Bradshaw; siblings Carolyn Weller, Bonnie Luce, and William (Bessie) West Jr. His companions also lied beyond humans, he deeply cared about his doggies, Lexi and Sadie; four special friends Daren Shaw, John Cunningham, Jerry & Victor; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Maxine Gallager, Robert, Roger, Ronnie and Carl West; grandson Devon Bercot; stepson Paul Kohman,

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm with funeral services beginning at 3:00pm with Pastor Jared Mitchell officiating. Burial will take place at a later date following a cremation.
